Filmmaking Certificate from the National Film and Television School focuses on the responsibilities of different departments within the film industry. This mood board is an example from the production design workshop.

This project was created by me as part of a production design workshop to produce a representative mood board for the general aesthetic, mood, costume, make-up, and features of the characters in a script about two young teenagers’ relationship with each other and their surroundings.
To represent the youthful and rebellious nature of the teenagers neon, dark, and colourful approach was taken within the mood board.
The story takes place in the 80s and the characters’ love for music, and particularly the band The Cure is mentioned. As a result, relevant props such as the Walkman were included within the mood board so is representative photos and lyrics from The Cure.
